Seen Him? CT Man Has Been Missing More Than A Week

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in tracking down a Connecticut man who has been missing for days.

Peter Recchia, 59, was last seen on Thursday, Oct. 3, in the vicinity of Millers Pond State Park in Haddam, Middletown Police said. He was reportedly traveling south on Foot Hills Road and was wearing a short-sleeved blue shirt, jeans, a black belt and sneakers at the time he was last seen.

According to police, Recchia does not have a history of violence but has a history of mental health issues and might be delusional and in need of medication. 

Recchia has gray hair, green eyes, a mustache and wears glasses. He is 5-foot-11 weighing approximately 150 pounds.

“We have a family missing their Dad, husband and 'Pop Pop,' ” the department posted on social media. “Please keep an eye out for Peter Recchia and call us or your local police if you see him. Last seen at Miller's Pond Haddam/Durham area. Lead investigator Detective Jimmy Lacasse 860-638-4135.”
